Kerb Goes Yard on Route to Wrangler Win
Tyler Kerby wasted little time punishing the baseball as he clobbered the rawhide deep into the trees at the friendly confines of Kinsmen Park on Sunday morning. It was Tyler's way of serving notice to the Chatham Majors that the Wranglers were back in town and looking to take care of business.

After posting up an 8 spot in the first inning, the Wranglers cruised to 14-3 mercy -rule induced 5 inning victory.

The Wranglers were led at the dish by Kerby's homer and 2 walks.  Zach Wilson went 2 for 2 with a walk, Will Hull went 1 for 2 with 2 walks and Reid King socked 2 hits and added a walk.  Adam Maitland muscled up in the fourth inning and came up inches short in his bid for dinger to the 'oppo' field, settling for a stand up double.  He was later seen at DQ with a monster Blizzard trying to find a few extra lbs to muscle it out of the yard next time.

Jace McGrail, Tristan Nemcek, Reed Douglas, Brody McRae, Noel Sanderson, Jack Helps, and Miller Mailloux all reached base and scored a run during the game.

Taking care of the pitching duties were McGrail, Hull, and Wilson  who combined for a 2 hitter while striking out 9 batters, walking 4, and plunking 3 batters with wild lasers. Kerby and first timer Maitland took care of catching duties and did an admirable job.

The Wranglers improve to 2-0 on the season and are next in action on Tuesday night at Tecumseh Park in Sarnia vs the Sarnia Minor Peewees.

Keep up the great efforts Wranglers.  More to learn every trip to the park.
