Wranglers on a Roll
The Peewee A Wranglers have strung together 7 wins to start the season and are on a roll as they head into the Chatham Diamonds Tournament this coming weekend.

The Wranglers squared off against North London Nationals on May 28th at Canton park for the home opener.  The Wranglers came out swinging and never looked back posting a 29-5 victory.  Tyler Kerby, Reed Douglas and Adam Maitland took care of pitching duties in the 5inning mercy rule shortened affair.

All Wrangler batters had multiple hits throughout the game and Kerby had 2 triples.

On May 30th, the Wranglers paid a visit to Stronach Park in London to face the Minor AAA Badgers. The Wranglers were shortstaffed with injuries and illness keeping Nemcek, McGrail and Douglas out of the game. The game got off to a slow start but the Wranglers chipped away each inning with a few runs here and few runs there on route to a 13-5 victory.  Taking care of the pitching duties were first year peewees Brody McRae, Jack Helps and Miller Mailloux.
Will Hull and Zach Wilson lead the hit parade with 3 hits apiece, Nate Perry and Reid King chipped in with two hits each.

On June 3, The Minor Peewees from Chatham came to Canton Park to face the Wranglers.  With Noel Sanderson and Nate Perry on the hill, Chatham could not muster much of an attack as the Peewees scored a 13-3 mercy rule victory.  Tyler Kerby had a homerun  to pace the Wranglers.  Reid King and Reed Douglas had 3 hits each.  Adam Maitland, Jace McGrail, Jack Helps, Noel Sanderson, Miller Mailloux all had single knocks.

On June 4, the Exeter Express came chugging into town and faced a very solid Wyoming team.  Defensively, the Wranglers were perfect not committing an error while posting up 10 runs offensively to secure the 7inning victory.
Big Z  went 3 strong innings on the hill before giving way to Reid King for 2 innings, Jace McGrail pitched the 6th and Will Hull the 7th to secure the shutout victory.  Offensively, Nate Perry clubbed a lazer line drive down third baseline and he raced around the bases for a homerun. He was later heard saying, "I haven't been this happy since my hole in one at golf last year!"  Zach Wilson had 2 triples and a single, Maitland, King, Douglas and Hull also registered hits.

Solid D, timely offense, and a pitching rotation of 13 strong all add up to a a confident group heading into their first tournament in Chatham this weekend.  Games vs Chatham, Windsor, and Exeter get underway Friday night at Kinsmen Park.

Good Luck Wranglers.  Keep up the good work.
