Pack the Park 2018 Raises Funds for Children's Hospital
On Friday June 15th, The Wyoming Wranglers Peewee A and B teams split themselves into two teams and played a game against each other raising money for charity.

The 4th Annual Pack the Park Night was held at Canton Park which drew a couple hundred fans who were treated to a close baseball game, a silent auction and some tasty treats from the Lambton Central Petrolia Optimist Club.

The Red Team ended up coming from behind to beat the Blue Team 10-9 in the Peewee Game.

The Senior Men's Game followed which pitted the Wyoming Cattlebarons vs Petrolia Raiders.  The Raiders came out on top in this game going extra innings for the 8-6 victory.

Regardless of the outcomes of the games, Children's Hospital was the real winner as all proceeds benefitted the Children's Health Foundation to help provide equipment and programs for kids in the SW Region of Ontario.

8 Peewee Players involved in the game had a connection to Children's Hospital either being born there, received or currently receiving treatment, or had a sibling born there which makes the importance and significance of Pack the Park all the more important.

In all $3054 was raised on the night.

A Big Thank You to all the people who helped out, bid on auction items, bought 50/50 tickets, donated an item, and/or participated in the game.

The star of the night was Archer Weed, a local kindergartner who has been receiving treatments since he was born at Children's Hospital.  He was in attendance and threw out the first pitch to start the night off.

Great Job Wranglers Nation.
