Cincinatti National Championships u13 Game Day USA Tournament
Plans are in the works to attend the Game Day USA National Championships Tournament in Cincinatti on July 12-15 (Thursday to Sunday). I feel this will be a great experience with some great competition for the kids.
As well lots of things to do and visit between games.
Information About Cincinatti....
Guaranteed 5 games. It is an Open Tournament so Competition should be pretty good.
Depending on # of Teams....if 10 teams or more... Bracket Play then Top 5 Teams Go A Division bottom 5 Teams go B division and play for 2 Championship Titles. Rings to Winners. if less than 10 teams ..one championship.
Entry Fee $650 per team. (already paid-will collect after team is made)
Age Group is u13 (USA has an April 30, 2018 cutoff...but they have allowed leeway for Canadian teams that go by the calendar year. We will need to take copies of birth certificates.
Games played at Mason Sports Park in Cincinatti, Ohio.
Spectator Admission is $5/day per adult or $15 weekend (Ages 6-16 $3 per day or $10 per weekend pass)
Skills Competition Thursday and or Friday -
Event 1 - Road Runner- fastest runner from 2nd base to home
Event 2- Golden Arm- Most Accurate Thrower
Event 3 - Home Run Derby -Most Hr's
Event 4 - Coach Home Run Derby- Most Home Runs ??

We will need to Travel Wednesday to ready to play Thursday.
Field Dimensions--**different than Canada** Bases 80 feet and Pitching 54 feet (we play 75 feet and 50 feet) So we will work on this prior to going.
Schedule will not be released until week before at latest.
