9U LCGSL Rules (Girls non PWSA)
- Game Time Limit: No new inning starts after 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Stoppage of Play: Play stops when the ball is received by an infield player; runners must stop advancing at that point.
- Home Runs: Allowed as long as the stoppage of play rule is respected.
- Defense: 10 players allowed on the field.
- Stealing: Not permitted.
- Infield Fly Rule: Not in effect.
- Batting: Each batter gets 5 pitches. On the 5th pitch, a foul ball grants another pitch unless it’s caught by the catcher.
- Coach Safety: Coaches operating the pitching machine must wear a skull cap.
- Pitching Machine Speed: Set between 33–35 mph.
- Pitching Machine Circle: Players must never enter this area. If a live ball hits the machine or remains in the circle, the play is declared dead and all forced runners advance one base.
