You may see young umpires wearing green armbands as they work ball games this summer.  The idea behind this program is to make sure everyone is working together to help our new officials. EVERYONE is expected to show good sportsmanship, and body language/tone when questioning a call. Umpires deserve a safe work environment not only as they learn the game, but always. Without these officials we would not be able to enjoy the game of baseball.
