Registration is now open for Lambton Public Health’s Talk Early, Talk Often public education session with Steve Keller of Drug Free Kids Canada.
You and members of your organization and are invited to join us on Tuesday, Sept. 24th at the Downtown Sarnia Library Theatre or Thursday, Sept. 26th at Forest Legion (6-8pm – doors open at 5:30) for a valuable learning workshop for all parents/caregivers and adults that work with youth.
You can expect to learn more about current substance use trends and their impact on developing youth brains including mental health impacts. You can also learn how to start and maintain effective conversations with youth through communication strategies.
In addition, new educational materials and resources developed specifically to help youth stop vaping, smoking, and using other substances will be shared.
