2020 Season update
Submitted By Mandi Pearson on Mon 06 01, 20
Following much discussion and consideration by the Executive Committee of Wyoming Minor Ball, and in light of the recent announcements from surrounding centres and leagues.
The unanimous decision has been made, not to proceed with a 2020 Wrangler & Lady Wrangler Season, for the time being.
All players will receive a refund of 2020 registration and fundraising fees

Wyoming Minor Ball reserves the right to create a shortened season, if possible, at a later date with a new registration process and payment structure.  We will continue to monitor the current COVID-19 situation and announcements pertaining to play.
If it becomes possible later this summer, a model could be developed to get back on the diamonds.

Cancelling the season, was not an easy decision to come by, however in consideration of the health & safety, of our players, coaches, umpires & volunteers, it was the best decision to make:

·        All levels from beginner to Midget will be affected by the cancellation.

·        Families will receive a full refund of registration fees and fundraiser tickets, a refund will automatically be returned to the card of payment, we appreciate your patience with this process.

“While we understand that this decision is disappointing, safety comes first. WMBA will continue to monitor the regulations set by OBA/PWSA. If and when it’s possible to return we could see some baseball activities later this summer. If not, we hope to see everyone back ready to play in 2021” says Matt Helps, Wrangler President

Stay tuned to our Facebook page and Minor Ball website www.wyomingminorball.ca  for more information, and also look for some coming announcements on how we can stay connected, while still apart.

“The Executive of Wyoming Minor Ball thanks our players and families for their patience. This is unchartered territory for all organizations, with decisions being made to best reflect the safety and wellbeing for all” says Ann Helps, Lady Wranglers President

Together we will get safely through this.

Yours in Baseball,
WMBA Executive
